CUMBRIAN LIVESTowards a Dictionary of Cumbrian Biography

Jean Warburton is an Emeritus Professor of Law.  She spent her whole academic career at Liverpool University where she specialised in property law. She retired to Kendal in 2012 and immediately began reading about the history of the area. Volunteering with Windermere Jetty Museum, she was asked to research the lives of owners of boats in the collection and so the interest in the lives of Cumbrian began and deepened.
