Leslie M. Shore is a retired chartered engineer with an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from what is today Cardiff University and a Lancaster University MBA. Author of a number of industrial history books (publisher- Black Dwarf Lightmoor) and climbing-hillwalking articles. A member of the International Society for the History of Engineering and Technology (the Newcomen Society), and the Fell & Rock Climbing Club of the English Lake District.
